How do I get a transfer code for my domain?

To obtain a transfer code for your domain, you need to lift the «Registrar Lock» and then request the «Transfer Code».

Please note: A registrar lock on a domain is a security feature that prevents the domain from being transferred or changed without explicit authorization.

 

Proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to your Emubox Customer Area.

  2. Under «Services» and then «Domains», select the domain you want to transfer.

  3. The «Service Details» of your domain will now be displayed.

  4. There you will find the indication «Registrar Lock». If it has the status «ON», you need to lift the «Registrar Lock».

  5. To do this, click on «Registrar Lock» and change the status to «OFF» and then click «Save Changes».

  6. The «Registrar Lock» is now lifted, and you can proceed with transferring the domain.





  7. Log in to your Emubox Customer Area.

  8. Under «Services» and then «Domains», select the domain you want to transfer.

  9. Switch to the «Domain Transfer» menu item.

  10. By clicking the «Request Auth-Info / EPP Code» button, the transfer code for this domain will be sent to you via email.



    → The domain will be automatically canceled at the next possible date.
    → The cancellation confirmation including the transfer code will be sent to the registered email address.

Important: The transfer code can only be delivered if all invoices for the domain are paid.
