FTP accounts for your web hosting can be created in the Plesk Control Panel.
This allows you to grant others access to your website's data or parts of it without having to share the main account password. When connecting with an FTP account, access is directly to the specified folder. For security reasons, access to higher server levels is not possible.
Create FTP account
- Log in with your Emubox ID in the Plesk Control Panel.
- Click on «Websites & Domains» > «Dashboard» > «FTP» in the left menu.
- Click on «Add an FTP account».
- Enter a username for the FTP account.
- Specify the base path where the files to be accessed are located.
- Enter a secure password and confirm it.
Note: You can also click on «Generate» to quickly and easily generate a secure password. - Click on «OK».
→ The FTP account has been created and will be displayed under «FTP».
