Do you want to use the Office 365 mail service with your own domain?
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Log in to the Control Panel with your Emubox ID.
- Navigate to the menu item «Services» > «Domains» and select the domain you want to edit.
- Click on «DNS Management» to access the DNS management.
→ You will now see the DNS entries for your domain.
- Under DNS Management, select the «Office 365» template and confirm with the «Submit» button.
→ By default, this template deletes all MX, TXT, and SRV entries from your existing DNS configuration.
- Confirm the warning regarding the DNS entries to be deleted with «OK».
- After a few seconds, you will find the new CNAME / MX / SRV / TXT entries in your domain management:
- Now two steps are required. In the first, you will receive a «Verification Code» from Office 365. You will then enter this in the form:
→ (TXT value displayed in the Office 365 portal) Example:ms99999999
→ After this TXT record has been created, confirm the domain via the Outlook.com control panel. - In a second step, you will then enter your mail server as specified by Office 365 (MX record).
- Then click on «Save Changes».
