How do I create and delete a subdomain?

Create Subdomain

Subdomains can be created directly when setting up a new website.

To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Log in to the Plesk Control Panel.
   
   
2. Navigate to «Websites & Domains».
   
   
3. Click on «Add Subdomain».
   

   
   
   

4. Enter the desired name for your subdomain and select the corresponding domain.
   

   

5. Optional: Change the document root if necessary.
   
   
6. Click on «OK».

→ The website including the subdomain has been created.
→ The subdomain is visible under «Websites & Domains».

Delete Subdomain

Subdomains are deleted in the domain management. The prerequisite is that the subdomain is no longer in use.

To delete a subdomain, proceed as follows:

1. Open the menu item «Websites & Domains».
   

   
   
   

2. Click on «» for the desired subdomain to display the extended menu.
   
   
3. Click on «».

→ The subdomain has been deleted.
